What You’ll Learn
Over the course of two 2-hour sessions, you’ll not only learn Lightroom’s tools but also discover how to use them as instruments for artistic expression. In the first session, you’ll dive deep into Lightroom’s organizational tools learning to curate your images as if they were a gallery.
You’ll discover how to seamlessly import photos and arrange them to create the foundation for your artistic vision as David will help you work through photos using RAW image files, essential correction, and image processing tools such as Basic Adjustments, Tone Curve, HSL, and Colour Grading. You’ll get to explore the expanded masking tool —your new ally in shaping light and shadow, texture and tone found in the Develop Module – and together with David, you will get the opportunity to professionally retouch a portrait.
Wrapping this workshop up, you’ll learn to walk away with a deeper understanding of your craft as David shares time-saving tips to maximize your Lightroom efficiency, teaching you how to harness the power of presets and profiles to streamline your editing process. You’ll gain invaluable insight into exporting your work, ensuring your images are ready to share precisely as you envision them with the world.
What You’ll Need
To make the most of this workshop, having two screens is ideal—one for watching the live demonstrations and the other for your own experimentation.
